Sounds Like Heaven
Imagine if everyone actually understood what the scriptures of their respective religions actually meant, what the message was. Imagine if we did treat our bodies as a temple, and took care of ourselves. Imagine if we banished those traits from our personalities, like ignorant pride, inflated egos, and other negative traits that cause us to fight with our fellow man, and make us think we are better than those different from ourselves. Imagine all of the problems that would not exist, such as bullying, drug use, etc. due to well adjusted, happy people with no need for these behaviors to be used to make them "feel better". Imagine how much more advanced we might be had we not wasted so much time fighting with each other. Imagine if all of us were working towards a common goal, everyone, from every country, working to make the whole world a better place. We would live longer, healthier lives with far less suffering, stress and anxiety. Far less disease. Far less hunger, poverty and senseless dying and misery. Wow! No disease, suffering or enemies ? Entire countries cooperating with each other, and the world looks like a happy, productive place. Sounds like Heaven, doesn't it? -unk

You Matter
You don't need anyone's affection or approval in order to be good enough .When someone rejects or abandons or judges you, it isn't actually about you. It's about them and their own insecurities, limitations, and needs. You don't have to internalize this. Your worth isn't contingent upon other people's acceptance of you. You exist and therefore, you matter. You are allowed to voice your thoughts and feelings .You are allowed to assert your needs and take up space. You are allowed to hold onto the truth that who you are is exactly enough. And you are allowed to remove anyone from your life who makes you feel otherwise. -unk
